"Over time". We know that two hours of workshop are not enough, we need time to experiment, to experience, to discover, but we ask workshop participants to be delivered as if they had all the time in the world to live each proposal will raise them.
Move freely is the title of the book of Emmi Pikler in which the experience and research in the development of the global motor skills in the early years of life. In line Emmi Pikler, but with older children, Elfriede Hengstenberg worked, who watched children as independent beings, able to be aware of your body and aspire to be free.
The work of the two we have been able to experience through several formations made with Ute Strub and Uli Tritschler. Beyond teaching and learning, transmission we have lived as a share, because teaching and learning is shared.
We suggest sharing a time to experiment with the body and to discover, surprise… Creating an enabling environment for everyone to find their movement, a movement that remain in the classroom but extends, accompanying in all areas of life.

Feldenkrais method
place Chamberí – Canal Dance Center
date Saturday, 27 October
hour of 16:00 a 18:00h. it 18:30 a 20:30h.
the workshop
A person occupies much of his early life learning to organize their actions, from the first reflexes to complex patterns such as walking or talking. During this time, not only learns movements, but that is subtly mixing with emotions, thoughts, fears, joys or social impositions, among other ingredients, which end up forming what we call self-image. The Feldenkrais Method proposes re-explore this learning, with the curiosity of who does it as if for the first time. Through easy sequences, without tension or pain, It helps a person check, refine and restructure these patterns of action and discover how you can do the same thing and does so with a new sense of lightness, recover movements that has long ceased to use and fasten new forms of action unexplored. And all, recovering fun and pleasure to move freely, in the absence of external models, without insisting on achieving a goal or put the student in a situation of autoexigencia. This has a profound impact on posture and gestures, but also it reaches other layers not only related to the movement: the communication, satisfaction with self-image, the feeling of being able, Spontaneity, Ultimately creativity ..., the movement is a tool that is revealed as a powerful ally for the ripening process and personal growth.
