AN OPERA, A CONCERT, A BALLET

OPERA WEEK

Over 5.000 spectators gather live in Madrid’s Plaza de Oriente, 120.000 all around Spain, 913.810 spectators and 49.867 Facebook interactions with 12.600 via streaming: these are the impressive numbers of the last edition of Opera Week at the Teatro Real, which opens and promotes its stage to a wide and diverse audience.

Every year during Opera Week, which promotes the great operas, businesses are able to form part of this new effort in the Teatro Real’s engagement with the general public through new technologies, allowing our projects to go beyond the walls of the theatre.

EDUCATION & TRAINING PROGRAMME

One of the foundational purposes of the Teatro Real is to reach out to new audiences, placing special emphasis on children and young people.

Our teaching programme includes opera, dance and various shows of a very high quality, which act as tools in the creation or our future and duly educated audiences, earning their loyalty.

The wide artistic content promotes the dissemination of all the performing arts that involve music as its main language, as well as new technologies, offering both educational and training activities for children, engaging their artistic perception, promoting their creativity and establishing social and coexistence values, and for young audiences, offering events and workshops such as “University on stage”, “Uncovering opera” and “Storytelling workshop”.

Business partnership on the “education programme” makes it possible to associate the sponsoring brand with the values of education and social commitment in the promotion of culture both of the Teatro Real as organiser of this programme, and the teaching centres who take part in it.

SOCIAL PROGRAMME

The Social Programme of the Teatro Real has been operating since 2014, particularly linked to the world of infancy where the purpose is to introduce the musical universe, and all of the stage manifestations which involve music, to children and young people. These usually attend from not-for-profit associations such as Fundación ANAR, Fundación de Síndrome de Down Madrid [Down’s Syndrome Foundation Madrid], Federación Autismo Madrid [Madrid Autism Federation], Federación Española de Padres de Niños con Cáncer [Spanish Federation of Parents of Children with Cancer] y Fundación Víctimas del Terrorismo [Victims of Terrorism Foundation].

The Teatro Real has arranged for a supply of instruments to equip this new Social Classroom, where music can become a vehicle to integrate minors with special needs.

UNIVERSAL MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Universal Music Festival is considered one of the most important pop and rock festivals both nationally and internationally.

Artists such as Sting, Tom Jones, Elton John, David Bisbal, Gregory Porter, Tomatito and Luis Fonsi have taken part in this project of the Teatro Real to promote a dialogue between musical artistic manifestations in many languages and open them up to new audiences.

Corporate cooperation on this programme that reaches a very wide audience who love live experiences is based on excellence and quality, positioning the Teatro Real and its collaborators as the focus of attention for lovers of popular music forms from all over the world.

FLAMENCO REAL

Flamenco represents the essence of Spain and has been classified as Intangible World Heritage by UNESCO. Along with some of the most prestigious artists, the Teatro Real presents the experience of flamenco dance and song in the Ballroom within the theatre.

Flamenco Real, thanks to the artistic quality of its performances, is an international benchmark for any spectator wishing to attend one of these magical evenings in the Teatro Real.

Business partnership with Flamenco Real consists of supporting and participating in this project of cultural diversity based on the programming of artists of exceptional quality. With these events, the sponsoring businesses can enjoy a selection of Spanish foods at the Premium tables, as well as exclusive access to a Meet & Greet with the artists, as well as the presence of your brand on all communication formats to do with Flamenco Real.
