EDEN
With Il Pomo d'Oro
Joyce DiDonato returns to Madrid with her creation Eden. A spectacular sensorial and musical experience that offers a journey through four centuries of music. In addition to works by Copland, Handel, Cavalli, Gluck and Mahler, the programme includes a new piece commissioned from Oscar-winning composer Rachel Portman for Douglas McGrath's Emma.
Eden is a unique experience of hope and connection that celebrates the majesty, power and mystery of nature. Together with her celebrated collaborators Il Pomo d'Oro and Maxim Emelyanychev, Joyce DiDonato invites us to explore whether we are connecting with the pure essence of our being to fill our future with hope.
