Ludovico Einaudi

Following the success of soundtracks such as Nomadland and The Father, illustrious composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi returns with Underwater, his first piano-only album in 20 years. Underwater was born in the confinement of 2020, when the renowned composer took the opportunity to write songs in the purest privacy: just Einaudi and his piano.

The title Underwater is a metaphor, "it is an expression of a very fluid dimension, without interference from the outside." The new record comes after a really exciting year for Einaudi: the films Nomadland and The Father have been awarded at the highest level in awards as important as the Oscars, the Bafta or the Golden Globes. In addition, he has released the compilation album Cinema, which includes many of his film and television compositions, and also a podcast miniseries called Experience: The Ludovico Einaudi Story, which It has the participation of famous filmmakers and performers such as Russell Crowe, Chloé Zhao and Eric Toledano, among others.
