The younger audience is one of the fundamental pillars of the Teatro Real, as they represent the audience of the future. For this reason, Teatro Real maintains its commitment to young people through various initiatives that make it easier to live the opera experience.

In its third season of activity, El Real Joven integrates all the projects aimed at promoting opportunities, events and specific activities for an audience between 18 and 35 years of age in all sectors of society.

Being young allows you to enjoy numerous advantages at the Teatro Real.

Amigos jóvenes

Teatro Real is an institution attached to the programme Bono Cultural Joven  

Young people up to 35 years of age have an exclusive youth area in the Main Auditorium distributed in the Platea, Entresuelo and Principal areas, giving them their own space to be able to live the opera experience. You can check the exact location here.

Tickets for Butaca Joven have a special price and can be purchased through the youth sales channel only during the preferential sales period.

For those under 26, the price of the seats will be 20 euros. And for people between 26 and 35 years of age. 30 euros for all the opera and dance performances of the season.

Teatro Real opens Last-Minute online sales for the purchase of opera and dance tickets to facilitate access and avoid having to go to the Teatro Real to buy said tickets.

For those under 26, 20 euros in any area of the venue.
People between 26 and 35, both ages included, will be able to access tickets for only 35 euros.

Last-Minute online tickets, subject to availability and conditions, can be purchased from 14:00 p.m. on the day of the show for Amigos Jóvenes only, and from 16:00 p.m. for everyone else between those ages.

*For organisational, technical and health reasons, Teatro Real reserves the right to modify the offer of Last-Minute tickets for certain shows.

"Nobody teaches opera better than opera itself."
