With a similar capacity to the other rooms on the second floor, the highlight of this one is the chandelier that once decorated the original Royal Box before the Theatre's refurbishment and now presides over and illuminates this space.
The intricate tapestries that decorate its walls, crafted in Brussels and Spain's Real Fábrica de Tapices during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, not only attract visitors' attention but endow the Arrieta Room with an extraordinary atmosphere of warmth and comfort, making it the ideal setting for top-level receptions.

The highlight of the decoration is the refined tapestry in different shades of salmon which completely covers its walls. Like all the other rooms on the second floor, this one measuring 130 m2 receives its name from the road towards which it is orientated. But its special attraction lies in the paintings that decorate its wall, which sum up not only a large part of the Theatre's existence but depict the monarchs who in one way or another have written a page in the history of the Teatro Real.

The Orchestra Room, also known as the Manuel de Falla room, has wood panelling, and the curved surface of the space allows for the musical notes to resonate with the best acoustics possible. Large wooden umbrella-like structures unfold to light up the room and refine the acoustics, creating a unique and welcoming space that gives a glimpse of the old part of Madrid through the colonnade of the opera house.
