German tenor Jonas Kaufmann appears for the first time at the Teatro Real as a lieder singer, in what, will surely be one of the most exciting performances of this season. Kaufmann has chosen an attractive and demanding programme in which the audience will perceive his extraordinary talent and versatility to combine dramatic excellence in portraying operatic roles with a deep understanding and sensibility when approaching the most delicate of chamber repertory.
