Titular Chorus and Orchestra of the Teatro Real.
La Traviata, by Giuseppe Verdi, returns to the Teatro Real in a production from the Nationale Opera & Ballet of Amsterdam, based on the production of the Salzburger Festspiele, created by Willy Decker. Four casts, headed by artists such as Nadine Sierra, Lisette Oropesa, Plácido Domingo, Michael Fabiano and Ismael Jordi will alternate in the performances which will be offered in the months of May and July of 2020.

Libretto by Francesco Maria Pave,
based on the theatrical play La Dame Aux Camélias (1848) by the son Alexandre Dumas.
Premiered at the Teatro la Fenice of Venice, March 16th 1853
Premiered at the Teatro Real, February 1st., 1855
Production of the Nationale Opera & Ballet of Ámsterdam, based on the production of the Saltzsburger Festspiele.
* Changes for the production of La Traviata will be limited to the same period (May or July) of its subscription performance.
